Our innovative deep learning AI analytics are capable of providing a high resolution segmentation map of the field displaying any areas of disease and allowing the farmer to take precise action to mitigate the problem
Following consultation with farmers and local collaborators we developed an efficient edge-to-cloud mobile-first system to connect connect farmers with drone services facilitating the whole process from request to survey, through analysis to results.
Our system provides farmers with a custom application to record information about their farm, search fro drone survey providers in their area, request a survey and see the results. In addition we provide real-time notifications of detected diseases and can provide early warnings, and advice to those in the area.
To accomodate the vastly different requirements of drone survey providers, we supply a second tailored mobile experience allowing drone operators to search for local survey requests, real-time navigation to the field, and automated flight control of the drone using our advanced algorithms, reducing the training burden on service providers. All the analytic results are seamlessly conveyed to the farmer without any disease experise required by the drone operator.
Since the successful demonstration, our Malaysian partners have continued to collect more data and improve their understanding of crop disease and mitigation strategies, while we have further developed our disease detection algorithms.
Meanwhile we have progressed our research into precision agriculture with advanced mobile-first algorithms for disease detection, nutrient prediction from drone imagery, and autonomous robotic scouting and intervention
We are currently looking for new collaborators to help us commercialise our solution to help farmers and provide real impact.
